Each Day of every month is stiched together. Impressions of each day were written on the backs. Mostly just weather concerns.
Sometimes signifigant happenings.
On March 9th it reached 82 degrees breaking a record for that day, as so many days do anymore.
The previous record high was 74 degrees in 2000. (average high is 51 degrees). It was sunny and humid.
March 10th remained eerily warm.
March 20th, the first day of spring was unseasonably cold with a high of 43 degrees
(average for this day is 54 degrees). Despite this daffodils, forsythia and magnolia
had been in bloom for about 2 weeks already.
April 5th was my 63rd birthday. It was a particularly cold day with a high of 45 and a low below freezing. Average for this day is 60 degrees high and 41 low.
In the early morning both snowflurries and abundant pollen were flying around. It was very windy but sunny.
April 21st was a gorgeous day with sun and clouds and a light breeze.
Bearded Irisis, wild violets, puffy dandelions....blooms everywhere. Cherry blossoms in full and fragrant dogwood.
